This mug is made from borosilicate glass, the same type of glass used in scientific laboratories. The glass is fined with silver and gold vaporized onto the surface, then encased in clear and coloured glass. This thin layer of vaporized metals changes colour with a dark background! The gold is panned out of a river in BC, Canada by my friend Mike. This mug holds 450 mL and is 11 cm tall.
